JENRY CELEBRADO, AUDIT
What did you want to be when you were younger?
When I was younger, I was drawn to roles that involved problem‑solving and responsibility. I enjoyed understanding how things worked and helping others make sense of complex situations, which naturally shaped my interest in a professional career where I could make a meaningful impact.
What made you choose your current profession?
I chose audit because it combines technical rigour with real‑world commercial insight. I was motivated by the opportunity to work with different businesses, understand their challenges, and provide assurance that builds trust with stakeholders while helping organisations grow and improve.
Why did you choose to work for Grant Thornton?
I chose Grant Thornton because of its strong reputation for quality, its collaborative culture, and its focus on growth and opportunity.
From the outset, it was clear to me that this firm values people who take ownership and think commercially – we are encouraged to make a difference that will go beyond just delivering good work.
How has Grant Thornton helped you grow professionally?
Grant Thornton has given me early exposure to responsibility, client leadership, and business‑development opportunities that have significantly accelerated my professional growth. The firm’s coaching culture and emphasis on doing things differently have both helped me develop not only as a technical auditor, but also as a leader who thinks strategically and commercially.
What do you most like about working at Grant Thornton?
What I most value is the people here, and our culture. Grant Thornton offers an environment where ambition is supported, ideas are welcomed, and collaboration is genuinely encouraged. Being part of a firm that balances high standards with trust and flexibility makes it a rewarding place to grow and build a long‑term career.
