What is your background?
I was born in Jersey and completed my A Levels at Hautlieu School. I was unsure what I wanted to do whilst I was growing up but as I was finishing school it became clearer that finance was what I wanted to peruse. I Joined Grant Thornton in 2025.

 Why did you choose to work for Grant Thornton?
I chose to work for Grant Thornton because I would see the branding at a lot of the events I attended during Secondary School and College, and after researching a bit more about the company I learnt about the support they give to qualify as an accountant, such as professional training and on-the-job experience.

What is your role and what do you like about your position?
I am an Audit Associate. I enjoy it because I get to work with a variety of Senior Associates, Seniors and Managers, which allows me to learn different methods of the work. I am able to ask questions and I receive support from others. Everyone is always willing to help, so I know my skills will develop over time.

 Why do you like working at Grant Thornton?
I enjoy working at Grant Thornton because everyone is very welcoming and supportive, I feel like I can talk and work with anyone within the office. I have been able to get to know more people since I have joined, with opportunities inside the office but also our social events outside of the office.
