What is your background?
I was born in Guernsey and have always lived here, I started work straight after my A levels so Grant Thornton is my second job on the island.
Why did you choose to work for Grant Thornton?
I moved to Grant Thornton via a business merger – the move attracted me because of the people and the culture of the company.
What is your role and what do you like about your position?
My role is an audit associate, I like that I get to work within various different colleagues and on a variety of different clients. I feel like my days always vary as I get opportunities to work on all areas of files and get to take an active role in client communication.
Why do you like working at Grant Thornton?
I like that everyone genuinely gets along and it’s a very positive, happy working environment. I also enjoy that everyone is very approachable whether that’s the senior managers or directors – everyone is always happy to answer your questions or help you if you’re stuck on something.
